    Title: 人類在生理週期中紅血球內穀胱甘和過氧化氫的表現

    Abstract: 本實驗主要是研究動情激素與紅血球內抗氧化物質如穀胱甘 (glutathione; GSH) 和過氧化氫 (catalase) 的相關性。採集總人數為59人,女性43人,男性16人。女性依自然月經週期分兩組:經期後第10-20天為A組 (16人),是動情激素高峰時期;第0-9天及21-30天為B組 (27人),是動情激素低量期。A組穀胱甘的含量 (4.4±2.3 μg/mg) 較B組 (3.2±1.8 μg/mg) 為顯著高 (P<0.05)。而且A組過氧化氫的活性 (210±72 IU/mg) 也較B組 (168±62 IU/mg) 為顯著高 (P<0.05)。同時動情激素變化A組 (184±106 pg/mL) 也是較B組 (105±56 pg/mL) 為顯著高 (P<0.01)。若依動情激素平均值 (134 pg/mL) 為界線分兩組,平均值以上為C組 (13人) ,平均值以下為D組 (29人)。穀胱甘含量C組(4.0±1.6 μg/mg)與D組(3.5±2.2 μg/mg)無顯著差異。然而過氧化氫的活性C組 (217±78 IU/mg) 較D組 (167±60 IU/mg) 為顯著高 (P <0.05)。另外男性與女性各組並無顯著差異。因此,我們推論紅血球內抗氧化物質穀胱甘及過氧化氫含量與動情激素表現量有關。
    The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between estrogen and antioxidants such as (Glutathione GSH, catalase) in the erythrocytes. The total number population of this study was consistanted of 59 healthy persons (43 female and 16 male).The female group was divided into 2 groups according menstrual cycle: group A consisted of 16 female (10-20 days after menstrual cycle) is in the stage of higher estrogen level ; group B consisted of 27 females (1-9 and 21-30 days after menstrual cycle)is in the lower estrogen level. The results showed that the glutathione GSH level in group A (4.4±2.3 μg/mg) was significantly higher than that in group B (3.2±1.8 μg/mg) (P<0.05). however the catalase level in group A (210±72 IU/mg) was also significantly higher than that in group B (168±62 IU/mg) (P<0.05). The estrogen level in group A (184±106 pg/mL) is higher than that in group B (105±56 pg/mL) (P<0.01). According to the average estrogen 134pg/mL the higher estrogen level group C (n=13) and lower estrogen level group D (n=29). The samples were divided is to two groups. There is no difference of Glutathione level between group C (4.0 ±1.6 μg/mg) and group D (3.5±2.2 μg/mg). However there is significant difference of catalase level between group C (217±78 IU/mg) and group D (167±60 IU/mg) (P<0.05). No difference of antioxidants was observed in between male and female. Thus we suggested that the expression of antioxidants (Glutathione and catalase) in erythrocyte is correlated with the level of estrogen.
