    摘要: Purpose: This study investigated the competencies that nurses should possess from the perspective of nursing graduates of a university of technology in Taiwan.Methods: Based on a qualitative research approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted. A total of 10 nurses from six different medical institutions were interviewed. The recorded interview data were transcribed into text and analyzed using content analysis.Results: The competencies that nurses should possess could be divided into three main categories, including "professional knowledge and techniques," "human-based attitude," and "detection of personal competencies." From the perspective of nursing graduates, nurses should possess abundant theoretical knowledge and practical skills, respect individuality of each patient, actively provide care, understand personal strengths and weaknesses, and enhance clinical nursing skills through self-learning.Conclusions: By exploring the interpretations of nursing competencies by graduates from the nursing department, this study may serve as a reference for the design of human-based curricula and clinical on-job training.
    目的:本研究目的旨在從某科大護理系畢業生觀點來探討應具備之護理能力。方法:採質性研究,以半結構訪談方式,共訪談10位來自6所不同醫療機構護理人員,透過深度訪談收集資料,將錄音內容轉成文字稿,並以內容分析法(content analysis)加以分析、歸納。結果:應具備之護理能力共歸納分「專業知識與技能」、「以人為本態度」和「能察覺自我能力」三大主題。護理人員詮釋護理能力需具備豐富理論基礎及熟稔技術;能尊重他人的個別性、主動關懷;能知曉自我的長處與不足,透過自我學習,提升臨床護理照護能力。結論:本研究結果期許更清楚瞭解畢業生對護理能力之詮釋,做為護理教育以人為本的課程設計以及臨床在職教育之參考。
