    Abstract: 自1980年Gauderer等人開始,經由內視鏡胃成為一般無法自行吞嚥病人的常見手術。因為手術本身的簡易、快速、安全等優點而廣為醫療人員接受。但是只有少數的統計資料提供有關於病人手術的併發性,以及胃手術的優缺點等訊息。因此我們分析三年來在一家醫學中心的手術經驗,並對結果進行討論。
    Since its introduction in 1980 by Gauderer et al, PEG for placing a feeding gastrostomy tube has rapidly gained popularity because its safety and ease for the patients who are unable to swallow. However, there has been little information about the patient's morbid events after PEG placement, and the longevity between PEG kit and balloon replacement kit.
