The purpose of this study aims to understand the influencing factors of adher-ence to medication with Schizophrenic patients in the Psychiatric clinic of a medical center in central Taiwan. The subjects were Schizophrenic patients from the Psychiatric clinic of a medical center in central Taiwan. Numbers of valid samples were 100 people from a randomly selected sample of a total of 107 peo-ple, and the valid response rate was 93%. To investigate the related factors af-fecting adherence to medication with Schizophrenic patients, Chinese version of the “Medication Adherence Scale” and some related influencing factors scales were used in this study. And then, Description statistics, T-test, One-way ANO-VA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and Multiple Regression were used to analyze. There was a significant negative correlation between medication ad-herence and the influencing factors of "Performance achievement", "Verbal per-suasion" and "Physiological arousal." Among them, "Physiological arousal" was the most significant, which could explain the total variation of 11%. The results of this study can provide reference for hospital-related units, nursing staff and follow-up researchers.
