    Abstract: 雖然電腦網路的教學功能廣為大家所期許,然而目前其實際教學效能與使用成效尚 未能符合世人的期待。第二語言習得專家與英語教學學者亦表示,要能有效的使用網站 的資源,必須在建構網路教學之前將學習者的學習型態和動機與教學課程做一個全盤性 的考量,包括使用者和教師,必須清楚的瞭解英語的習得和網路學習應用的方式。實 際上大多數的教學網站多是以程式設計者的角度去設計網站的功能而非以外國語言學 習為導向為主的教學設計,且極少數的語言教學網站將豐富網路學習環境和英語外語學 習內容整合互動達到一個完整的機制及融合的應用境界。是故一個良好的學習網站因 該在設計建構時將學生不同的語言程度以及不同的學習型態一併考量已達成其應用之 最大效益。 因此,本研究的主要目的是整合學習型理論,第二外國語習得及網際網路的特性,以第 二語言習得教育專家Reid 所設計的感知學習問卷為基礎,考量學生其個人學習風格的 需求並結合英語學習能力之聽、說、讀、寫之技巧、以及網際網路多樣性、彈性化之學 習環境,建構一個適性化學習類型英語輔助教學系統。本研究並在實施適性化學習類型 網路英語輔助學習系統後進行使用者之網路英語學習認知效益實證研究,藉以探討適性 化之學習型英語網路輔助教學系統對學生在英語學習之影響,期望為每個學習者建立個 人化、適性化的學習類型環境來輔助語言學習學習之活動,以提高網路應用之教育功能。
    Traditional face-to-face lecture courses are necessarily liner fixed due to the constraints of the mode of teaching. However, there is no reason to apply this restriction for computer assisted course for the same course. But when the presentation of information or the structure was not compatible, students would have to work on the underdeveloped aspects of their learning styles. There is no question that learning styles should be taken into account when teaching with technology. Factors such as structure of the hypertext environment have been found to affect navigational performance within a hypertext environment ( McDonald and Stevenson, 1998) and this in turn has been shown to affect learning (Shapiro, 1998). Jonathan Ross and Robert Schulz (1999) reported that the way course information is presented and assignments are structured on the WWW can cater to different sensory, social, and thinking style to Web-based learning. However, it is not clear how the integration of hypertext architecture and learning style impact on the success of computer assisted language learning. Thus, this study is to construct aCALL course that can be used to address learner’s diferent perceptual learning stylesto beter facilitate student’s learning.
